These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Schedule Sync ("we," "our," or "us") and our web application. By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Schedule Sync, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

Schedule Sync is a web application that:

• Connects to your calendar services (Google Calendar, Outlook, CalDAV)
• Syncs calendar events to your Twitch and YouTube channels
• Manages streaming schedules and broadcast information
• Provides premium features for subscribed users

3. Account Registration and Security

Account Creation

• You must create an account using Twitch authentication
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for all activities under your account
• You must not share your account credentials with others
• You must not use another person's account without permission

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

Free Tier

• Basic sync functionality (24-hour intervals)
• 7-day calendar lookahead
• No manual sync limits

Premium Tier

• Advanced sync functionality (6-hour intervals)
• 30-day calendar lookahead
• Up to 3 manual syncs per day (except for unlimited users)
• Auto-update stream features
• Premium status requires active Twitch subscription to ZeMaxi's channel

Subscription Management

• Premium status is automatically verified through Twitch API
• We reserve the right to modify subscription benefits
• No refunds are provided for subscription periods

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Schedule Sync only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the service to violate any laws or regulations
• Share or distribute content that is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the service to spam, harass, or harm others
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use automated tools to access the service excessively
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code

6. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• Schedule Sync and all related content are owned by us or our licensors
• Our software, designs, and trademarks are protected by intellectual property laws
• You may not use our intellectual property without our written permission

Your Content

• You retain ownership of your calendar events and streaming content
• You grant us permission to process and sync your content to connected platforms
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all content you sync

7. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
• We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or technical issues
• We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time

8. Third-Party Services

Schedule Sync integrates with third-party services:

• Twitch: For authentication and schedule management
• YouTube: For broadcast creation and management
• Google Calendar: For calendar event access
• Microsoft Outlook: For calendar event access
• CalDAV providers: For calendar event access

Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimer

• The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of synced content
• We are not responsible for errors or omissions in third-party platform integrations

Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for damages
• Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

10. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting all services
• We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, we will delete your account data within 30 days
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where our service is hosted, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

• We may modify these Terms at any time
• Changes will be effective immediately upon posting
• Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms
• Material changes will be highlighted on our website
